Designed by and for the contemporary colorist, R+COLOR’s modern formulations are true to tone, healthier, faster, and better for client and stylist alike.

Built-in Bondtech protects the integrity of the hair. The antioxidant-rich Hyperdrive Complex, combined with micro-pigments, deeply penetrates the cortex of the hair to help decrease processing time and allow for faster application. Our Hair Therapy Complex protects the hair during the service, leaving hair ultra-conditioned and shiny. Finally, our Healthy Scalp Complex protects even the most sensitive scalps against irritation.

Our formulations focus on stylist (and client) health and well-being.

R+COLOR is 100% vegan, cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny certified, as well as free of gluten, PPD, resorcinol, formaldehyde, parabens and silicones to reflect the needs and mindsets of the stylist and consumer community alike. A full complementof unique ammonia-free and mineral oil-free options have also been integrated throughout the collection to help ensure the gentlestcolor applications.

All formulations are fragrance-free to remove a key driver of sensitivities from hair color—especially beneficial to colorists who work with haircolor products behind the chair all day.

Even R+COLOR accessories were designed with an eye on improving colorists’ salon life. For example, our latex-free, oatmeal-infused gloves hydrate, soothe and protect the colorist’s hands–and can be used with touchscreen phones without having to remove them.

Created with the future in mind, the R+COLOR collection makes environmental sustainability a cornerstone. Our high-design packaging is color bar-worthy in any salon and features design that reduces the environmental impact of the salon industry.

At R+COLOR, we’re committed to giving materials a second life. To reduce our footprint on earth, we use post-consumer resource (PCR) packaging whenever possible. Our hair color tubes are crafted from 100% recycled aluminum with caps made from 100% PCR materials, thus reducing virgin plastic consumption while decreasing the use of fossil fuels and energy used in package manufacturing.

We are also the first hair color brand in the world to launch a demi-permanent product using recycled aluminum: Our demi-permanent bottles are 100% recycled aluminum with 60% recycled aluminum caps.
